A quiet studio,

Since 1978
Four decades of the handmade.
Craftsmith began in a small brass workshop in Moradabad, where our founder learned to hammer, polish and finish alongside artisans whose craft had been passed down for generations.
Today we work with more than forty studios across India — makers of wood, metal, stone, glass and cloth — building objects for homes that want to keep them for a long time.
We move slowly. We make in small batches. We name our artisans on every piece we ship.
The workshop

Our workshops are not factories. They are small rooms lit by the afternoon, filled with the sound of hammer, lathe and file.

Solid brass, hand-planed walnut, handblown glass, wrought iron and stone. Materials that age with grace, not against it.
